‘CELEBRATING Salisbury’ was the theme for the Journal’s Camera Club competition this month.
To mark two years since the Novichok poisonings and the beginning of Salisbury 2020 celebrations, camera club members were asked to take pictures that showed off the city’s landscapes, history, events and everything in between.
Judged by the Journal editorial team, first place was awarded to Ian Preece for his sunset shot at Churchill Gardens, pictured above, followed by Terry Winn’s view of the cathedral from Pepperbox Hill in second.
Third place was a draw between an empty Market Place by Zac Shaw and a street light outlining the cathedral spire, by Gus Malcom.
