SALISBURY Walk-in Centre is still open but video consultations are being carried out before patients are seen in person.

Patients will need to download the NHS app where they will be asked to enter their information and book an appointment by selecting Salisbury Walk-in Centre and a time slot.

A post on the centre's Facebook page said: "We are open but to protect the NHS and save lives, we are undertaking video consultations before seeing you in person. Here is how;

"Please download the NHS App, input your info, book an appointment, select the location of Salisbury Walk-in Centre and choose a slot.

"Once triaged if you need to be seen, we’ll organise you to come to the centre.

"Please note, if you are setting up an NHS login for the first time, you will need to prove who you are. It may take up to 24 hours to check your information. We encourage you to download the app and input details in advance.

"If you are unable to download the app and/or require attention, all patients will be required to wait outside the centre to establish no COVID-19 symptoms are present before a slot is booked for you."
