TWO overnight burglaries took place last week, in which thousands of pounds worth of tools were stolen.
The first incident happened between 10pm on March 18 and 7am on March 19 at a property in Recreation Road, Ludgershall.
A garage was broken into and various power tools were stolen, including two Husqvarna chain saws, two Hitachi 18 volt drills, a Mitox chain saw and a Stihl Farm Boss chain saw.
The second burglary happened between 5pm on March 20 and 8am on March 21, when offenders broke a lock off a barn on the High Street in Berwick St James, and stole power tools.
Wiltshire Police said these power tools are worth several thousand pounds.
Officers are keeping an open mind as to whether the incidents are linked.
