Residents in and around Salisbury did the NHS proud last night as hundreds came out in force to join the national 'Clap for Carers' at 8pm.
Neighbourhoods across the city and nearby towns gathered on their doorstep to applaud the efforts of frontline staff currently fighting coronavirus.
People were heard clapping, whistling, banging items and shouting messages of support and appreciation towards all NHS workers.
The city's cathedral also joined in by lighting its spire blue.
In Maple Way, Amesbury, residents marked the mass clap in style, cheering and waving sparklers.
Also thanking doctors and nurses were Marilyn Penelope Daisy and her son Finn who clapped from their home in Amesbury.
In Salisbury, this was the scene in Belle Vue Road.
