A second patient who tested positive for Covid-19 has died at Salisbury District Hospital, it has been confirmed.
The woman, who was in her 80s, passed away on Wednesday last week.
A spokesperson from Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust said: "Sadly a women in her eighties who had tested positive for COVID-19 died at Salisbury District Hospital on 25th March.
"Our thoughts and condolences are with her family and friends at this difficult and distressing time."
The first patient to have died of coronavirus in Salisbury was a man in his 50s who passed away on March 11.
It is understood he had underlying health conditions.
