Firefighters called to chimney fire
A FIRE in a woodburning stove and chimney flue was extinguished by firefighters.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of a chimney fire at a property on Ringwood Road in Alderholt at around 1.20pm today (Monday, March 30).
A crew from Fordingbridge attended.
The fire was extinguished using a chimney rod, stirrup pump and small tools. The incident was dealt with by around 2.40pm.
