A man has been charged after failing to comply with a dispersal notice in Salisbury.
The Section 35 dispersal order was issued yesterday morning but officers were called to the Cheese Market at approximately 3pm following a report that a man had been seen acting drunk and disorderly.
Terry Melvin, 46, of Barnard Street, has been arrested and charged with being drunk and disorderly in a public place and possession of a bladed/pointed article.
He has been released on bail with conditions to stay at his home address other than for basic food necessities and medicine.
He is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court on April 24.
