THE road has now reopened after a crash involving a car and lorry.
The incident near the Shell garage on Wilton Road was reported to police just after 2pm today (April 1).
A fire crew from Salisbury and the ambulance service also attended the scene.
An earlier Tweet from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews from #Salisbury are currently at an RTC on Wilton Road Salisbury involving a car and HGV. Please avoid this area if possible. Ambulance and Police are also in attendance assisting with the incident."

Paramedics treated a female passenger of the car at the scene. A police spokesperson said she was taken to Salisbury District Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The road was reopened at 4.30pm.
