TWO more patients have died at Great Western Hospital after testing positive for coronavirus.
A Great Western Hospitals NHS Trust spokesperson said: “Sadly, we can confirm that two patients who were being cared for at Great Western Hospital, and had tested positive for Covid-19 have died.
“A woman, who died at the hospital on 28 March, was in her 70s, and had underlying health conditions.
“A man, who died at the hospital on 30 March, was in his 80s and also had underlying health conditions.
“Out of respect for the families, we won’t be commenting further.”
There are 31 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Swindon - and 93 in Wiltshire.
The number of people who have died after testing positive for the virus is 2,352.
