SALISBURY District Hospital has received a very special message in recognition of its hard work.
Film director Guy Ritchie has paid tribute to all NHS staff, particularly thanking those in the city's hospital which he said he is "next-door to" and has spent "a good deal of time taking my relatives to in the past".
In a video message shared on Twitter by the hospital's Stars Appeal, the award-winning film-maker said: "Thank you very much for looking after us in the past and thank you very much for bearing down on this current challenging time.
"We all appreciate it, specifically myself and my family. Thank you all very much for your hard work and your effort.
"It is much appreciated, thank you."
