Salisbury Cathedral
SALISBURY Cathedral is to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day with a special broadcast.
At 5.30pm tonight, a service of Choral Evensong will be streamed on the Cathedral's Youtube channel to offer residents the chance to come together virtually to remember those who gave their lives in conflict.
The preacher is The Ven Alan Jeans, Archdeacon of Sarum, and the service contains readings and prayers as well musical items from recordings of the Cathedral Choir.
