A VIDEO shared on social media shows queues of up to two and a half hours to access the tip in Amesbury.
Most household recycling centres across Wiltshire reopened for the first time today. Salisbury's tip is scheduled to reopen at 5.30pm.
Wiltshire Council, which manages the facilities, has shared a time-lapse video on Twitter showing vehicles queuing as far back as the end of Stephenson Road.
Over 50 cars are in the queue for the tip in #Amesbury. There will be long delays so please only visit if your waste cannot be stored safely.
