THE total number of those who died after contracting coronavirus at Salisbury District Hospital remains 51, following yet another day in which no new deaths were recorded.
The hospital confirmed today that for the fifth day in a row, no patients have died after testing positive for Covid-19.
In hospitals across England, NHS figures show that a further 166 people died yesterday, bringing the death toll to 25,079.
Patients were aged between 33 and 99 years old. Five of the 166 patients (aged between 54 and 70) had no known underlying health condition.
Of these deaths, four cases were in the South West.
