POLICE are appealing for witnesses to come forward after an attempted break-in to a property on Queens Road in Mere.
It happened on Monday, May 18 at around 3.45pm and officers say the offenders made made after they were challenged.
A door was damaged during the burglary attempt.
A police spokesperson said: "We are asking if anyone saw two males in Queens Road, Mere around 3.45pm on Monday 18th May. We had an attempted burglary where a door was damaged by offenders who made off into White Road when challenged.
"Did you see a vehicle that they got into? If you did or you have any information that may assist us with our enquiries please call 101 Wiltshire Police quoting niche *46763."
