TWO men from Salisbury have been arrested amid allegations of sexual assault at a doctor’s surgery.

The arrests are part of an ongoing investigation regarding Cross Plains Surgery in Durrington.

Officers say the arrests, of two men aged 31 and 41, were made in March and the pair have since been interviewed and released.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “Two arrests have been made as part of ongoing enquiries into a medical centre in Salisbury.

“A 31-year-old man from the Salisbury area was arrested on suspicion of four counts of sexual assault.

“A 41-year-old man from the Salisbury area was arrested on suspicion of two counts of sexual assault.

“They were both arrested on March 27 interviewed and have been released under investigation while our enquiries continue.

“These arrests were made as part of ongoing enquiries regarding the Cross Plains Surgery.

“This investigation includes working closely with partner agencies and it would be inappropriate to comment further at this time.”
