A VEHICLE was seized after being stopped by police in Tidworth.
The Vauxhall car was stopped yesterday evening after officers noticed the "questionable" standard of driving as well as minor defects on the vehicle.
Officers discovered the vehicle belonged to a friend of the driver's.
The driver, who had a provisional license, had no insurance and was reported for driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving with no insurance.
PC Blake said: “This was a proactive stop solely based on the standard of driving that was being displayed right in front of a marked police vehicle and the defects seen on the vehicle.
The driver will ultimately find himself in court to answer for his actions and another illegal vehicle has been taken off the road.”
