NO new Covid-19 deaths were reported by Salisbury District Hospital over the bank holiday weekend.
The total number of patients who died after testing positive for Covid-19 therefore remains 53.
The latest fatality is a man in his 90s with underlying health conditions who passed away on May 22.
Today, NHS England confirmed the death of a further 116 patients who died after contracting the virus. It brings the total number of deaths in hospitals in England to 25,866.
Patients were aged between 50 and 100 years old. One of the 116 patients (aged 71) had no known underlying health condition. Six of them were in the South West.
