FIREFIGHTERS came to the rescue of a cat who was stuck inside a derelict building.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service received reports about the animal in a derelict building on Andover Road in Ludgershall at 11.45am on Tuesday (May 27).
A fire crew from Ludgershall attended.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “A short extension ladder and animal kit was used to rescue a cat from inside the boarded up building.
“The cat was back with its owners within an hour.”

Firefighters from Ludgershall also dealt with a fire involving 10m of hedge and a fence panel on Forest Lane in Upper Chute.
The incident was reported to Wiltshire and Dorset Fire and Rescue Service just before 9am on Monday.
It was extinguished using a hose reel jet.
