Fifth day of no Covid-19 deaths at Salisbury Hospital
FOR the fifth day in a row, there have been no new Covid-19 deaths at Salisbury District Hospital, figures can confirm.
The total number of patients who died after testing positive for coronavirus remains 53.
The last fatality passed away on May 22.
In hospitals across England, a further 185 people who tested positive Covid-19 have died in the last 24 hour period, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths to 26,234.
Patients were aged between 28 and 99 years old. Five of the 185 patients (aged 65 and 96) had no known underlying health condition.
Their families have been informed.
Twelve of these patients were in the South West.
