A CHEF who has been furloughed during the health crisis is putting his skills to good use providing Warrington residents with tasty, homemade pizza.

Nathan Kelly, from Latchford, has started his very own pizza business, making fresh dough and sauce with a choice of toppings, sold unbaked to allow people to cook their pizza in the comfort of their own home.

The 21-year-old was working as a chef at Spirit Restaurant in Victoria Park before he was furloughed as a result of the coronavirus panic.

Nathan exaplined: “I’ve been a chef since the age of 15 so about six years now.

“I’ve managed kitchens back in Wales before moving to Warrington last year, despite being at a young age.

“As I’ve been furloughed and restaurants are on the bottom of the waiting list, I decided to take matters into my own hands and get busy!

“Currently, I’ve only set up a Facebook business page, so all the orders are through that.

“I frequently post updates, new competitions and photos to keep everyone in the loop- the Facebook page is called ‘Lockdown Pizza’.”

Customers will be able to place their order and pick up their pizza contact-free, and should pay through PayPal or exact cash as an extra hygiene measure.

Further instructions and the exact address will be given upon ordering.
