Warning to be 'extra vigilant' after rise in bicycle thefts
POLICE are urging residents to be "extra vigilant" after a bicycle was stolen in the Crow area.
A Cannondale E Bike was stolen from a locked outer building overnight between June 2 and 3.
A statement on the Ringwood Police Facebook page said: "The theft of bicycles is slightly on the rise in the area. Please consider locking your bikes even when you are storing them in your own garage/shed. Be extra vigilant and don’t be afraid to call the police on 101 to note any suspicious incidents in your area it may prevent a crime."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Hampshire Constabulary on 101, quoting crime reference number 44200198041.
