THE COACH House Day Nursery in South Gorley has reopened its doors and woodland to its pre-school children at its Forest School site.
Last week, the children were able to get out and about and enjoy the great outdoors and take in the beautiful views of the surrounding area near the nursery.
A spokesperson for the Coach House Day Nursery said: “We have been thrilled to reopen our doors and our woodland to our pre-school children at our Forest School site.
“The children love exploring and having fun in the outdoors and whole-heartedly throw themselves into all the learning opportunities presented to them.
“Whether it is talking about growth cycles when planting seeds, counting the tadpoles and other creatures we catch when ‘pond dipping’ in the stream or counting the ponies and deer that we see on our New Forest walks.”
All ages from three months have returned to the Fordingbridge Day Nursery and Coach House Day sites, which have lots of space for social distancing in the rooms and the outdoor forest school which is at South Gorley.
