A WOMAN was taken to hospital after a single-vehicle crash on High Road near Bishopstone.
The incident was reported to emergency services at 5.30pm yesterday (Wednesday, June 25).
It is believed the driver suffered a medical episode.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Shortly before 5.30pm yesterday (24/06) we received a call about a single-vehicle road traffic collision on High Road, near Bishopstone.
“It involved a white Range Rover which had left the road.
“The driver, a woman in her 60s, is believed to have suffered a medical episode and was taken to Salisbury District Hospital for treatment.
“She had suffered an arm injury, but her injuries were not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
“The road was cleared by 7.50pm.”
Fire and ambulance crews also attended the scene.
Two fire crews from Salisbury along with ambulance crews attended.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "One female was medically trapped and crews assisted ambulance with extrication."
