SALISBURY City Council has announced it will reopen its play areas at Queen Elizabeth Gardens, Churchill Gardens and Victoria Park from Saturday July 4.

These will be sanitised once a week on Monday morning.

Anyone who visits them should adhere to the following guidelines set by the council:

• Be aware that you are using this play equipment at your own risk

• Please maintain social distancing at all times and do not enter if social distancing can’t be maintained

• One family member only to accompany a child

• During busy periods it’s recommended that people visit for no longer than 20 minutes

• Do not eat food in the play area or on any equipment

• Dispose of any PPE and litter in a bin or take it home with you

• Avoid touching your face

The same rules apply for those using sport and gym equipment who are being reminded to leave the equipment clean for those using it next.
