A TREE fell across a main road near Salisbury earlier this week.
The Journal has been informed that the incident took place at around 11.50am on July 2, between Bishopstone and Coombe Bissett.
According to a witness at the scene, drivers who were stuck either side of the tree were able to help clear the road.
Wiltshire Police has confirmed that there were no injuries, adding that the situation was dealt with by Highways, which has been approached for comment.
