POLICE are searching drains in Boscombe today as they continue to investigate a fatal stabbing.

Officers can be seen searching drains at the junction of Wharncliffe Road with Owls Road.

Police still have cordons in place as they continue to investigate the death of James Cutting.

The 31-year-old from Bournemouth was found with stab wounds in Boscombe Chine Gardens on Tuesday evening and died at the scene. 

A murder investigation was subsequently launched, and police say cordons will remain in place at Boscombe Chine Gardens into the weekend.

Detective Inspector Wayne Seymour, of the Major Crime Investigation Team, said there would continue to be an increased police presence in the area.
