EMERGENCY services are currently at the scene of a vehicle fire involving a BMW car between Helmsley and the turn off to Sproxton.
North Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Group are on the scene and said: "We are currently on scene of a vehicle fire in between Helmsley and the turn off to Sproxton.
"We aim to have the road opened in the next few minutes."
