SALISBURY creatives will be displaying artwork outside their homes over the weekend, in a special arts trail across the city and surrounding villages.
Art lovers will be able to enjoy a 'Summer Arts Exhibition' with participating displays across Greencroft, Pitton, Durrington, Winterslow, Harnham and Lower Bemerton, as 27 artists show off their spectacles just outside the home.
Organised by Salisbury Arts Scene, the event will be running on both Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 5pm, and a competition will be running alongside the exhibition, challenging attendees to visit as many sites as possible.
Sally Edwards, event co-ordinator, said the "exciting" event is an opportunity for artists and crafts people to "come together to showcase their skills".
She added: "Salisbury has a vibrant art and craft scene which like many businesses has had to stay hidden from view and unable to display itself through the many events planned for this time of the year.
"The event will provide a much needed vibrant display of arts and crafts and bring back a buzz to our city and surrounding villages for everyone to enjoy."
