QUIDHAMPTON artists have launched an online art exhibition.
As the event could not be held in the village hall it was decided to launch it online instead.
Twelve artists, aged 15 to 97, are exhibiting their work, which ranges from oil painting of portraits and landscapes to drawing, watercolour and mixed media.
A section “corona creativity” collects the artists’ work done during lockdown, including inventive sewing and embroidery and the making of masks and scrubs when supplies were short.
It launched online yesterday (Wednesday, July 15) and can be viewed at quidhamptonwiltshire.com.
Funds raised will go to support the 170 year-old Quidhampton village hall.
