SALISBURY Live has announced that it will be holding a series of special garden party events starting from next week.

The Salisbury Live Garden Party events will take place at the Wig and Quill on New Street on Friday, July 24, Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 and at the Bull Hotel in Downton on Friday, July 31, Saturday, August 1 and Sunday 2. Followed by another event at Salisbury Rugby Club on August 7 and 8.

The shows will take place in the pub beer gardens and feature “unplugged” performances from some of the areas top artists, including the Deloreons (duo) and Louise Jordan.

The Wig and Quill - July 24: Trinity, 7.30pm-10pm; July 25: Jack Card plus Darren Ford, 7.30-10pm; July 26; Dan Sowerby plus Rich Atkinson and the New Billionaires 2pm-5pm (lunchtime blues session)

The Bull Hotel, Downton - July 31: Fret n Keyz, 7.30pm-10pm; August 1: The Deloreons (duo), 7.30-10pm; August 2: Louise Jordan plus The Duskers trio (lunchtime folk/roots session), 2pm-5pm.

Salisbury Rugby Club - August 7: Stoneheart plus support, 7.30pm-10pm; August 8: Not Dead Yet, 7.30pm-10pm.

All events are free entry, please respect social distancing guidelines.

  • LIVE@The Farm has been postponed and will now take place next year due to Covid-19.

The event, which is held at River Bourne Community Farm in Laverstock had been rescheduled to take place on Saturday, September 19.

But, the community farm announced that it will now take place on Sunday, May 30, 2021.

A post on its Facebook page said: “We have made the difficult decision to postpone Live@TheFarm to Sunday 30th May 2021.

“Those who already have tickets can keep them for that new date or get a refund from SeeTickets.com.”
