A DRIVER was arrested after a crash on the A338 near Fordingbridge.
Officers were reportedly called to the scene just after midnight.
A post on the Hants Roads Policing Twitter page said: "First deployment of the night to a single vehicle RTC on the A338 near #Fordingbridge.
"Driver claimed not to know how the car came to leave the road. Our guess is the positive drug and alcohol readings contributed. Driver arrested. #ItsNotWorthTheRisk #SoDangerous."
