Flip Out, the UK's biggest trampoline and adventure park operators, are bouncing back to action as their Basingstoke outlet opened on Saturday, after four months of closure.

As a token of appreciation to the health workers who have been on the frontline of the COVID-19 crisis, the adventure park in Festival Place Shopping Centre is offering free entry to NHS workers and their families in August.

The trampoline park franchise, who has over 25 sites nationwide, has been busy during lockdown devising new guidance to ensure their facilities can be enjoyed safely.

Flip Out will open its doors again in Church Street with strict measures in place to mitigate risk; all stores will be run at a reduced capacity with staff to wear PPE and temperature checks being taken on entry.

The adventure park caters for kids, teens, and adults with an array of activities on offer, including battle beams, climbing walls, Interactive assault courses, trampolines, and inflatables. They also have designated, themed, birthday party rooms, and restaurant facilities that overlook the action for mums and dads who might prefer to put their feet up and watch.

Richard Beese, the company co-owner, said he was glad to be back. He said: "We want to say a big thanks to the NHS and the brave staff who have been on the frontline. Also, this is part of our commitment to help get the nation flipping fit again!

"With schools and leisure facilities being closed for so long now, it's become increasingly difficult to keep kids active and healthy. Our stores are bursting at the seams with attractions designed to set pulses racing and now more than ever I think people can benefit from having a bit of fun and getting fit at the same time!"
