Two people were rescued from a fishing boat that was taking on water.
The volunteer lifeboat crew and Lyme Regis was dispatched just after 9am after reports of a boat taking on water off Seaton in Devon.
One lifeboat crew member boarded the Rosie Lee, a 17-foot fishing boat, and used a salvage pump to get the water out of the boat.
Eventually the fishing boat, with two people aboard, was able to sail under its own power. It was escorted by the lifeboat crew to the safety of Lyme Regis harbour, arriving at 11.20am.
This was the 29th call for help answered by the Lyme Regis lifeboat volunteers so far this year.
