A PHOTOGRAPHER’S lockdown project has raised an amazing £3,345 for two local causes.
Simon Ward, of Simon Ward Photography, has spent lockdown taking pictures of families at their doorstep in exchange for a donation.
More than 110 families and businesses took part, allowing him to raise £2,280 for the Stars Appeal and £1,065 for Julia’s House.
He said: “We photographed butchers, buses, supermarkets, radio stations, nurseries, care homes, home and giftware shops, motorcycle technicians, hair salons, firefighters, paramedics, NHS workers, forces personnel, authors, lords, ladies, a former football manager, bloggers, scientists, actors and solicitors. We also photographed cats, dogs and chickens.”
Although the project has officially ended, Simon is happy to photograph anyone else who gets in touch in return for a donation.
