EVER fancied being part of a pantomime - well here's your chance.

As part of an auction to support Wiltshire Creative, bidders could walk away with a cameo role in the next Christmas pantomime at Salisbury Playhouse.

The auction will take place during the Picnic in the Park event at Trafalgar Park, near Downton, on Saturday, August 29 , prior to an outdoor screening of the Oscar-winning film Shakespeare in Love.

Other prizes in the auction include a private pottery class for two from Wiltshire Creative’s artist in residence at Salisbury Arts Centre, a private dinner party on the stage of Salisbury Playhouse and a luxury cinema experience for a group of 30, with other items to be added ahead of the event.

Helen Taylor, Wiltshire Creative’s development director, said: “We’ve had lots of fun putting together these money-can’t-buy packages for the auction. So whether you’ve always wanted to appear in a pantomime, fancied yourself as a potter or dreamed of taking your friends and family to a private cinema, this auction is for you. We’re looking forward to a very special evening in the beautiful surroundings of Trafalgar Park, raising funds to support Wiltshire Creative’s future work, and we can’t wait to see everyone.”

All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting Wiltshire Creative’s reopening of its venues and future artistic activity.
