The hot sunny weather has finally broken in Swindon and the rain has started to fall.
Temperatures have been sweltering at 30C this week so the rain will be a welcome cool down for now.
But the rain is set to continue with thunderstorms forecast over the town for the next two days with a yellow weather warning put in place.
The Met Office predicts the rain could affect some areas of Swindon with flooding and cause disruption to public transport.
And next week the weather is predicted to be cloudy with some patches of rain still hanging around.
