LOOKING ahead to 2021, City Hall has announced a few shows that will be coming to Salisbury.

Join Ray Mears for his new show We Are Nature: An Invitation To Reconnect With The Natural World .

It is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 7.30pm.

Ray will be demonstrating and explaining techniques that will help to improve our senses and highlight the problems nature faces today.

Alternatively, why not spend an evening with Amanda Owen in Adventures of the Yorkshire Shepherdess on March 1, 7.30pm.

In this new show, Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda shares heart-warming tales and honest anecdotes from her farming, family life in North Yorkshire. I

Hear how she grew up in Huddersfield but was inspired by James Herriot’s books to leave her town life behind and head to the countryside.

After working as a freelance dairy milker and alpaca shearer, she eventually settled down as a shepherdess at Ravenseat, one of the highest and most remote places in England, where she’s raised a flock of 1000 sheep and a family of nine children.

Accompanied by some of Amanda’s photography, experience the highs and lows of remote farming life, which over the past few years included the extremes of the Beast from the East and some of the hottest summer temperatures on record.

Amanda juggles life as a shepherdess and mother, with life as a best-selling author and being taken to the nation’s hearts with the Channel 5 series Our Yorkshire Farm.
