EXPLORE Salisbury Guildhall for free as part of Heritage Open Days.

Salisbury City Council are holding open days from Wednesday, September 16 until Saturday 19.

The Heritage Open Days are an annual celebration of England’s architecture and culture that allows visitors free access to historical landmarks that are either not usually open to the public, or would normally charge an entrance fee to visitors.

It also includes tours, events and activities related to architecture and culture.

Salisbury Guildhall is a grade II listed building.

The free guided tours will be given by Blue Badge Guides at 10am and 2pm each day.

Due to Covid-19 the open days will not include tours of the cells and tunnels.

Social distancing regulations will be in place, with visitors asked to sign in for track and trace and masks must be worn at all times.

Tickets for the open day tours are very limited and need to be booked in advance online.
