An address in Salisbury has been searched by police.

Shortly before 8am on Friday, officers gained access to an address in Cleeve House linked to the supply and use of class A drugs.

Neighbourhood policing officers and colleagues from Response Team 1 supported by a dog unit made a forced entry to the property to carry out a search.

No arrests were made on this occasion.

Sgt Steve Jolly said: “We are aware that members of the public may have noticed an increased police presence in The Friary area, especially as this was at a time when many people would have been doing the school run. I would just like to assure members of the public that we are taking a robust approach to ensure that our communities are kept safe and criminals feel the full force of the law.”

To report criminal activity call 101 or 999 if it is an emergency.
