COASTGUARDS and a lifeboat crew were called to reports of a person struggling in the water off Southbourne beach.
Southbourne Coastguard and a Mudeford lifeboat crew were alerted just before 5.30pm yesterday.
On arrival they discovered the person had made it to shore safe and well.
