DORSET has the most species of spider in the UK, new research has revealed.
A study by online broker, Mojo Mortgages, has revealed that one in four current homebuyers would not go ahead with a purchase if they saw a spider at a viewing.
The study also revealed two thirds of people would look at moving house is they had a spider infestation.
As spider season approaches, the site found Dorset to have 483 different species of spider, putting it top of the list.
South Hampshire was second, with 478, followed by Surrey with 461.
The broker encouraged people to vacuum regularly to remove the spiders, get some conkers, remove noticeable webs, fill gaps, remove sheltering sites and deter all insects.
