MORE THAN £8,000 has been given to projects supporting the local community in Salisbury.
Salisbury Area Board has given funding for four projects totalling £8,663, including £1,753 for Salisbury Bee Trail, £5,000 to Salisbury BID for a Salisbury Digital Marketing Communications Channel , £1,000 to Silver Salisbury for its 2020 programme post Covid-19, and £910
for Harnham Neighbourhood Association's Harnham Harvest Table.
The chairman of Salisbury Area Board, Councillor Atiqul Hoque wants as many community groups to come forward and apply for crucial grants they need.
He said: "There is is still £69,242.00 in the Salisbury funding pot to allocate so please come forward with your project."

The next meeting of Salisbury Area Board is due to take place on October 8, 6pm, and will be held online.
