Bournemouth town centre’s vibrant and diverse coffee culture is being celebrated throughout October.

The Bournemouth Coffee Culture Month is an initiative of the Bournemouth Town Centre BID to support its local coffee businesses.

The campaign begins today (Thursday October 1) which also happens to be International Coffee Day.

A coffee trail map has been produced to highlight participating venues across the town centre, all with limited time offers available.

You can pick up a copy at coffee venues or discover online at bournemouthcoffeeculture.co.uk

Residents and visitors are being encouraged to look out for the special Coffee Culture window vinyls at establishments taking part.

Lucinda Ackerley, the Town Centre BID’s Business Liaison Officer said: “Our town has a wonderful mix of coffee establishments and really adds to the cosmopolitan atmosphere here in Bournemouth.

"We are excited to support them in these challenging times with Bournemouth Coffee Culture Month.

"Whether you are studying or working from home, the independent and global brand coffee shops really do bring friends, family and colleagues together like nothing else can.

"People can get involved with the hashtag #bmthcoffeeculture to win competitions and unlock some great coffee offers.

"We would like to encourage people to join us in celebrating everything coffee based and enjoy new experiences whilst sipping away."

Yellow Buses are also involved in the initiative.

"We are working with the BID to promote Coffee Culture month and looking forward to bring customers into town for their coffee," said Marketing Sales Manager, Fiona Harwood.

"We'll also be sharing offers and also running a competition through social media to win a coffee voucher and free travel."
