THIS year’s Salisbury Fringe is going virtual.

The online festival of new writing takes place on Sunday (October 4) and features filmed performances of work by local playwrights.

The virtual theatre event runs from 6.30pm to 9pm and can be accessed online by going to where more information about programme is available.

The festival kicks off with six “duologues” based on its Bourne to Write workshop followed by Shortcuts at 7pm and The Monologue Mash at 8.15pm. The Monologue Mash features eight monologues filmed by the actors, which are presented in two groups of four. Audiences will have the chance to vote for their favourite.
