A motorcyclist has died in a crash on the A36 between Wilton and South Newton.
The incident took place shortly before 9pm on Thursday October 8.
A 66-year-old man from Westbury who was travelling west through the village of South Newton, appears to have lost control of the motorbike.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed to allow emergency services to deal with the collision for around eight hours.
Anyone who saw the collision or has any information is asked to contact 101 quoting log number 320 of Thursday, October 8.
Wiltshire Police say their thoughts are with the man's family and friends at this difficult time.
