GENEROUS patients have helped raise more than £1,900 to support the Friends of Fordingbridge Surgery.
The money, which totals £1,968.06, was raised during two over 65s walk through flu clinics last month.
A post on the Fordingbridge Surgery Facebook page said: “Thank you to all of you that donated and to our staff and volunteers that helped leading up to and on the days.”
The Friends group raise money which is used to improve the experience of patients using the surgery.
Funds are used to purchase equipment or improve facilities in areas of the practice that may not be met by the NHS funding.
Most recently it helped fund marquees to set up drive through clinics during Covid-19.
The money raised last month will be used to support this ongoing initiative.
