The Queen's visit to Porton Down is the third Royal engagement in our county in the space of just one week.
Her Majesty The Queen has been to the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) this morning to meet scientists involved in the UK's coronavirus response.
The visit was the monarch's first public engagement outside of a royal residence in seven months.
She was accompanied by her grandson, Prince William.

Only last week, her daughter, Princess Anne came to Wiltshire to open a new primary school in Amesbury.
On Thursday October 8, the Princess Royal paid a special visit to pupils at King’s Gate Primary School.
She was greeted by The Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Mr William Wyldbore-Smith, before meeting Executive Headteacher Nicola Gilbert and having a tour of the school.
Earlier this week, on Monday October 12, Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall visited Wiltshire Council to thank staff for their work to support the Covid-19 response.
The visit, hosted by Wiltshire Council Chief Executive Terence Herbert, at County Hall, Trowbridge, highlighted the integral role of the council during the local response to the coronavirus pandemic.
