FARM owners have been left "shocked and distressed" after four boys used a catapult to kill four chickens.

The incident took place on September 11 at around 8.30pm, when four youths allegedly entered a chicken coop at River Bourne Community Farm in Laverstock.

Wiltshire Police would now like to speak to the four boys pictured in connection with the incident.

Four bikes, also pictured above, were left behind at the farm and officers would like to identify their owners.

The police force said: "This has understandably caused shock and distress for not only the owners of the farm but also the wider community.

"Anyone who recognises any of the boys pictured or has any information that could assist officers with their enquiries are asked to call us on 101 and quote crime reference number 54200091592."
