POLICE in Salisbury have issued a warning that vehicles found on the road without insurance 'will be seized'.
This comes after officers seized a car with no insurance that was parked on Castle Street.
A statement on the Salisbury Police Facebook page said: "This vehicle was seized today by officers from the Salisbury Neighbourhood Team after being located parked on Castle Street without valid insurance.
"Vehicles found on the road without insurance will be seized by Police and there are expensive fees incurred for the owner in order to recover them.
"When a driver is identified as having driven a vehicle without a valid insurance policy they can also receive a further fine of £300 as well as getting six points on their driving licence, or be issued with a summons to attend court."
