The driver of a BMW who crashed their car in the New Forest and made off without alerting police, has left behind some clues.
In a tweet posted around 11pm last night, a spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary's Road Policing Unit said: "Having crashed near #Bashley in the #NewForest, the driver of this BMW didn't fancy hanging around until we arrived. We can't think why! He was kind enough however to leave us some clues in the car #SchoolBoyError"
